Llevaba varios días sin actividad de picaflores en mi patio debido a que los bebederos se llenaron de abejas y hormigas y estas no permitían que se acerquen a beber el agua con azúcar que preparo.
Cuando observé que con la lluvia desaparecieron los insectos preparé los bebederos y aguegué una tela de color celeste en la parte de atrás para modificar el fondo de las fotos.
debo decir que quedé muy conforme con esta sesión de fotos, ya que desde las 13 horas hasta que oscureció tuve abundante actividad de estas aves; no pasaba mas de un minuto para que las mismas vuelvan a los bebederos, por momentos llegué a tener 8 picaflores y 6 mieleros simultaneamente en mi patio.
Pude fotografiar macho y hembra de Picaflor común y macho y hembra de Picaflor vientre negro.
