Este relevamiento se realizó el día Sábado pasado y hoy lunes por la mañana, totalizando un total de seis horas en el lugar y 50 especies fotografiadas, 6 nuevas para el registro del grupo y una nueva para la Ciudad de Posadas ya que no hemos encontrado registros de la presencia de la misma en nuestra ciudad.
Una vez en dicho lugar bien temprano por la mañana, ingresamos al mismo por la continuación de la Avenida Santa Catalina ( punto 1 de la foto satelital), al ir aproximándonos se escuchaban cantos de aves por todas partes.
Con color amarillo señalé el trayecto recorrido y los números indican puntos de interés en donde se pueden realizar las mejores observaciones.
After walk for six hours this sector of the city of Posadas we were surprised by the variety of bird species that we recorded photographically.

El punto 3 es un camino que recorre longitudinalmente todo el sector, hay un caño metálico de 70 centímetros de diámetro que se usa para el bombeo de arena, dicho camino tiene una longitud de 500 metros aproximadamente

El punto 4 señala el sector en el que se está construyendo una defensa de piedra, la misma no aparece en la foto satelital, es de construcción reciente, recorriendo dicha defensa se llega hasta el único sector que tiene árboles en pié, estos son utilizados como percha de abundantes Garzas.
El sector está remarcado con color celeste.

Me siento abrumado por la tristeza recordando como era este sector anteriormente, no ha quedado árbol en pié.
Hablando con una vecina del lugar, la señora Marta Jimenez al respecto decía, mucho asfalto, mucha obra pero tiraron todo abajo, los pobres pájaros no tienen que comer.
Mencionó que tiene preparados plantines de Pitanga y Mora para plantar en el sector para que las aves tengan algo para alimentarse.
