Zorzal colorado ( Rufous-bellied Thrush)

Climber Bird of the Dendrocolaptidae family, fly fast from tree trunks to sit upright in them. Walk the spiral climbing trees, his singing is strong.
Appears to be divided into two colors, the front half is olive and the back half, including the tail is rufous.
It measures 14 centimeters long.
The beak is short and straight, measuring 1.5 centimeters.
In the pictures you can see both the end of the tail, ending in points, which help the bird to stand upright when climbing.
It inhabits forests and woodlands of NW and NE Argentina.

The pictures came out by chance and good luck for me because it was taking other songs and this woodcreeper flew by my head perched on the trunk that was behind me. I had no time to use more zoom for better approach and that by completing a lap in the trunk of the tree was up about 5 meters above hiding in the ferns.
It was the only one who could hear, see and photograph in the Provincial Park "Cañadón de Profundidad"

Catita enana (Blue winged parrotlet)

Last days I had the opportunity to photograph several copies of tanagers in the Botanical Garden is the first time I see the male and female together, the couple was building their nest and I could photograph collecting different materials such as dried leaves of ferns and including spider web.

Its 9 centimeters in length are the main drawback to locate.

I confess I felt sorry for her when I saw her in that state, but she was eating, jumping, walking and even flying smoothly despite the illness she have.
The birds, in spite of adversity, do not show mood.

I tried to add more feeders in my yard but always end up Tordos majority.
In addition to its larger size always occupy all available space and smaller birds, as in this case can only look down and eat the leftovers when they leave the thrushes.

I filled the feeders with seed and sit down to wait to find some close-ups.
After 5 minutes had taken these photos.

And they are made 4 days in the tree of my backyard, a clear sign that they liked the place.

This Surucuá was so quiet roadside in the Iguazú National Park that almost could not see.
I took two pictures, after the first shot was flying towards the place where I was and shortened almost 3 meters away can make the best approach I had with this particular species.
This is the result.

In the silence of the forest heard her singing in the distance. This warbler of 12 centimeters has a strong and melodious voice of many piping notes, his singing is very acute. It inhabits the low layer, dense jungles, forests and capueras in the NE of the country is semi earthling.
Shoot the bird was a real challenge during the two days I was in "Profundidad", low ambient light in which the power moves quite difficult to photograph, he is very restless, and the only time in the few seconds remaining in the same place is when it issues its song. I had to manually focus because the autofocus to focus never ended. At least two photographs rescued. although the first picture is blurred, it serves to show the bird singing.
