Al menos uno nos pasó sobre nuestras cabezas sobrevolándonos a baja altura.
Debido al viento que había casi no movía sus alas, pero sus timoneras cambiaban de posición para alinearse con nosotros.

Este pichón de Curiango fué fotografiado en el Campus del Instituto Montoya de la Ciudad de Posadas, Por fin Roberto cambió el largavista por la cámara de fotos, y si empezó con esta especie, lo hizo con el pié derecho.
Llevabamos un buen tiempo tratando de identificarlo, hasta que la gente del sitio web foto-mundosilvestre confirmó que se trata de esta especie en particular.
El adulto mide 28 centímetros de longitud, es terrícola y de cortos vuelos verticales.
De hábitos crepusculares y nocturnos pasa la mayor parte del día reposando en el suelo mimetizándose entre hojas secas.

Benteveo común (Great kiskadee)
Gracias a que los bebederos para los picaflores también atraen insectos, estos se están animando a bajar en mi patio, ahora si hay comida para todos :).
En la última foto está mirando atentamente el movimiento de las abejas.

Este día tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar al macho y a dos hembras de esta especie de Corbatita.
Las hembras son indistinguibles entre si debido a su diseño común ( dorso pardo y vientre ocre), estas dos hembras se encontraban alimentándose en compañía del macho a escasos metros de distancia entre ellos y se movían juntos recorriendo el pastizal.
This day I had the opportunity to photograph the male and female of this species of Seedeater.
Females are indistinguishable from each other due to common design (brown back and ocher belly), these two females were feeding in male company a few meters away from each other and moved together walking the pasture.

Avistando aves en familia (Birding with my family)
Aprovechando la tarde soleada del Domingo salimos con mi esposa y mi hija a recorrer la Ruta provincial 213 hasta el cruce con la ruta provincial 34 de Corrientes para finalizar el recorrido en la Ruta Nacional 12.
Dice el decálogo de la naturaleza:
Acuérdate de tus tiempos libres, para visitar los espacios naturales de la Gran Madre Naturaleza. Seis días trabajarás, pero uno tendrás para acariciar la creación que cada día te da el pan y el oxígeno para que tú y los tuyos puedan vivir.
Que mejor que salir a avistar aves y disfrutar de una tarde en la quietud del campo enseñando a nuestros hijos el respeto y el cuidado que debemos tener hacia todos los seres que conviven con nosotros en esta bendita tierra.
On a sunny Sunday afternoon we went with my wife and my daughter to go through the Provincial Route 213 to the intersection with Route 34, Corrientes province to end the tour at the National Route 12.
He says the decalogue of nature:
Remember your free time to visit natural areas of the Great Mother Nature. Six days you shall work, but you have to cherish each day of creation that gives the bread and oxygen for you and your family can live.
What better to go out and watch birds and enjoy a quiet afternoon in the field of teaching our children respect and care we should have toward all beings who live with us in this blessed land.
Iniciamos nuestro recorrido de 31 kilómetros a la altura del Autódromo de la Ciudad de Posadas (en el acceso sur del mismo), hasta el cruce con la ruta 34 se recorren 15 kilómetros. Este trayecto lo señalicé con celeste en la foto saltelital.
El punto 1 indica el Destacamento Policial de San Isidro, y el punto 2 señala el destacamento policial que se encuentra en el cruce de las dos rutas ( 213 y 34), desde este cruce hay 16 kilómetros hasta la Ruta Nacional Nº12.
We begin our tour of 31 kilometers at the height of Speedway City Posadas (in the south access to it), to the junction with Route 34 will travel 15 kilometers. This leg is signaled with blue in the picture saltelital.
Point 1 indicates the Police Detachment San Isidro, and point 2 indicates the police station is located at the intersection of the two routes (213 and 34), since this crossing is 16 miles to the National Highway No. 12.
Para no aburrir mucho con listas de especies les cuento que en este recorrido se pueden observar especies de distintos ecosistemas, ya que en algunos sectores hay monte bordeando el camino, hay bañados, hay pastizales altos, pastizales bajos y hay campo sembrado.
Mi hija anotó un total de 65 especies para un total de 3 horas y media que nos llevó recorrer este camino.

My daughter scored a total of 65 species for a total of 3 ½ hours that took us down this path.

Con los últimos rayos del sol terminamos este recorrido llegando al cruce de la ruta 12, me volví a casa con 120 fotos y con la mente relajada para comenzar una semana de trabajo.
With the last rays of the sun end this route arriving at the junction of Route 12, I returned home with 120 pictures and mind relaxed to begin a week of work.

Cuervillo cara pelada ( Bare faced ibis )
En vuelo me pasaban cerca, pero sin el equipo apropiado me fué imposible acercarme al lugar en el que estaba posado el resto del grupo porque me separaba un trecho de agua.

I had a good flight of this birds near me, but without the proper equipment it was impossible to approach the area where I was sitting the rest of the group because I was separated by a stretch of water.

Carau (Limpkin)
A escasos metros del lugar en el que estábamos ubicados pudimos apreciar a este Carau intentando mantener el equilibrio en el delgado posadero que eligió.
